Although Code Veronica still features files that expand the lore, characters and locations, this Resident Evil takes a more straightforward approach to its storytelling. Resident Evil Code Veronica X will be available for download next week on PS4. It takes place a few months after Resident Evil 2 and contains some interconnecting plot points with Resident Evil 3: Nemesis as well. Code Veronica originally released on the Sega Dreamcast back in 2000 and this port is of the updated version that later came to the PS2, GameCube, Xbox 360, and then to the PS3.
